Living in The Bonny Slope

Bonny Slope is a community in Washington County that lies on Thompson Road north of Beaverton.  Bonny Slope is tied closely to the neighboring Cedar Mill community. Residents live in a variety of housing, from modest apartments to high-end subdivisions and a few mansions scattered among the hills.

This purely residential neighborhood enjoys some of the more spectacular views in the metropolitan area, with unobstructed panoramas of the coastal mountains and outlying valleys. The commercial section of this area is mainly along Cornell Road.

The Bonny Slope Community Garden network has evolved with local families growing fruits and vegetables organically in straw bale planting beds—for themselves and for the Sunshine Pantry food bank. A community pumpkin, squash and melon patch has been planted as well.
