Living in The Hollywood Neighborhood

Hollywood is a mixed commercial and residential area, it serves primarily as a shopping district to the adjacent neighborhoods of Grant Park and Laurelhurst. The residential side of Hollywood is tree-lined with historic homes. With neighborhood shops, restaurants, a theatre, and stores all within easy distance, Hollywood is a vibrant community.

The main drag of Hollywood is the business corridor, Sandy Boulevard, however the side streets also have a mixture of local antique stores, furniture stores, restaurants and a bowling alley.

The restored 1920s Hollywood Theater on N.E. Sandy Blvd and 41st Ave. is a popular Portland landmark and shows art house movies.
