Living in The Grant Park Neighborhood

Grant is a family oriented community of tree-lined streets and well-built homes.

Shopping is easy in the Grant community. The Lloyd Center shopping mall is nearby and the main commercial streets — N.E. Broadway, N.E. Fremont and N.E. Sandy –offer a variety of small boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops, where residents mingle.

Grant Park is one of the neighborhood gems. Adjacent to Grant High School it is almost 20 acres and features tennis courts, a running track, soccer and softball fields and picnic tables. The park was the setting for many scenes in the Ramona series of children’s books by Beverly Cleary and features sculptures of some of her characters, including, of course, Ramona.
