Living in The Bridgeton Neighborhood

This waterfront community occupies a narrow strip along Marine Drive at the edge of the Columbia River and a mix of residential properties. Some homes enjoy a view of Mount Hood. Channels Edge, on the western end of Bridgeton is one of several friendly spots for entertainment.

Bridgeton is a marine community of many living styles including: Bungalows and upmarket townhomes and condominiums, floating home marinas, houseboats and live-aboard boats. An RV park and a development of newer homes occupy the east end, close to the Portland Yacht Club and Columbia Edgewater Golf Course.

The convenient location is well-served by light rail from the western end at the Expo Center and from the eastern end at the airport and Cascade Station. A proposed improvement of the I-5 bridge to Washington state promises to strengthen the regional economy and improve livability.
