Riverfront-Old Town Real Estate
The Riverfront-Old Town area of Lake Oswego is located on Iron Mountain overlooking Mt. Hood, Oswego Lake and other surrounding vistas. It is a quiet neighborhood of many well-established homes on large sites along wooded bluffs.
Uplands is the only neighborhood bordered by two large nature areas, Springbrook Park to the north and Iron Mountain to the south. Springbrook Park is a 52-acre urban nature area under a canopy of mostly big-leaf maple. Steep wooded slopes of conifers and oaks characterize the Iron Mountain Natural Area that runs along a bluff. Prestwick Park, is a newer park which was reclaimed from a wide spot in Wembley Park Road.
Along its western border, the Uplands neighborhood is bordered by Boones Ferry Road, which also serves as the spine of the neighborhood’s retail core — Lake Grove Village Center.
