Latest Canals-Blue Heron Homes
The Blue Heron Neighborhood of Lake Oswego is on the southwestern portion of the Lake where narrow tributaries of the main lake create additional waterfront property. This neighborhood is relatively new with large homes positioned on embankment above the lake and have water views. Blue Heron Road is one of the main residential roads along the water. Lots tend to be smaller in this neighborhood but the vast landscaping and mature trees give homes some privacy buffers.
Blue Heron Bay tributary was created by overflow from the 1921 dam installed which increased water volume in the lake. The neighborhood and bay is named after the blue heron which can be seen often around the lake.
This neighborhood has close access to many parks in the surrounding neighborhoods including Westridge Park, Cooks Butte City Park, Bryant Wood Nature Park and
