Vose is a residential neighborhood in the city of Beaverton in Washington County, OregonVose was originally the home of a Native American tribe known as the Atfalati. By the 19th century, this tribe moved on before English settlers arrived. Some of the first Ford Motor Company dealerships were established here, starting in 1915. Today, numerous technology organizations and companies including Linux Technology Center of IBM, Tektronix, Maxim Integrated Products and VeriWave provide jobs to Vose residents. in 2010, the city was named by Money Magazine as one of the 100 “best places to live.” With a low crime rate, great schools, active community participation and clean air and water, Vose is a nice place to live and work.
