Latest Commonwealth Homes

An upper middle class neighborhood right off of Hwy 26. The centrifugal highlight of this community is a manmade lake, Commonwealth Lake. It covers 20 acres in a residential part of Beaverton. The lake was built by a developer in 1965 but now is part of the Tualatin Parks and Recreation.  The lake captures the waters of Johnson Creek, which flows from the West Hills and eventually joins the Tualatin River at Hillsboro and is stocked with trout and has visiting waterfowl. Commonwealth is a laid back suburb of Portland. Very conveniently close to downtown for commuters and neighbors the Nike campus.
