Oatfield has plenty of shopping, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and parks for everyone to enjoy and as an added bonus, Portland Oregon and Vancouver Washington are only about thirty minutes away for even more options.

According to Greatschools.org, Sojourner School received a perfect 10/10 rating, Milwaukie Academy of the Arts and Bilquist Elementary School received a 7/10 rating, Milwaukie Elementary School and Gladstone High School received a 6/10 and El Puente Elementary School and Putnam High School received an average 5/10 rating. Alder Creek Middle School received a below average 4/10 and Rowe Middle School and Milwaukie High School received a 3/10. A few schools definitely need some work but, overall this district offers some excellent schools.
